All US orders are fulfilled directly by our in-house distribution team based in Albany, Georgia. We’re excited to offer you more reliable, affordable, and speedy shipments. We look forward to getting your orders to your front door.

How does ordering work?
Please submit your order at Yarns inspirations, we are not able to process orders via telephone. After you submit your order, you will receive a computer-generated confirmation that your order was placed. Please check your spam/junk folder if you do not see this email within 5 minutes of completing your order. If there are extra shipping, handling or other charges for your order, we will let you know the amount when the order is confirmed.
We pride ourselves on getting our orders on their way quickly and efficiently. While our average processing time is 36 hours, unfortunately, on occasion, it can take 3-4 business days to pick, pack and ship your order. All orders are picked, packed and shipped on a “first come, first serve” basis, we do not expedite processing times for individual orders.At this time we do not process backorders. If your item is out of stock at the time of fulfillment, we will cancel the out of stock product, ship the balance of your order, and issue a refund for the missing product, taxes (if applicable) and shipping upcharge. You will need to place a new order if you still need the item when it is back in stock.
If the item(s) you order are out of stock at the time of fulfillment we will cancel the order to stop the hold on your funds. If you have not received a Ship Confirmation email within 4 business days and you have verified the Ship Confirmation email is not in your spam/junk folder, please log into your Yarns inspirations account to confirm your order is still active. If it has been cancelled, and you did not request the cancellation, we did not have enough of the item(s) you ordered. Please watch for the item(s) to be back in stock and place a new order.
What currency are your prices in?
Prices on our US site are displayed and charged in USD. Shoppers on our Canadian site will see prices in CAD and will have their payment method charged in CAD as well. You can switch between these sites by using the dropdown menu on the upper right-hand side of our website.
Do you offer Gift Cards?
No, unfortunately we are unable to offer gift cards at this time.
Do you have a physical store I can visit?
The Yarns inspirations store is virtual only and can be found at Yarns inspirations. We encourage you to visit your local craft retailer to touch and feel our yarns in person.
Do you offer backorders?
We do not hold backorders. We fill hundreds, sometimes thousands of orders every day and, while we strive to fill everyone's order efficiently and completely, occasionally the available quantity of an item is not sufficient to fulfill all incoming orders for that particular product.
If you place an order for product and we do run out of stock, that item will automatically be cancelled from the order and you will be issued a refund. We do not backorder. If we had to cancel an item from your order, you will receive notification via email with the details of the refund; item, quantity, and amount. This notification will be sent to the email account used to create your Yarns inspirations account. If you still want the remainder of your order, please return to Yarns inspirations to place another order for the items previously out of stock.

What types of payments do you accept?
We currently offer Visa, Mastercard as payment options. Shoppers in the United States may also choose to check out using American Express.
Will my payment information be safe on your site?
Yarns inspirations is committed to providing the most secure on-line shopping experience possible. Your credit card information is safe and secure. We use secure servers and the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all of your personal information, including your credit card data. Once encrypted, your data cannot be read as it travels over the Internet. For additional information on how Yarns inspirations maintains your privacy and security, please refer to our Privacy Statement.
When you finish adding items to your shopping cart, simply click on Proceed to Checkout and fill in the required information including method of payment. Once your transaction is complete, you will receive an email to confirm your purchase.
Your credit card information is perfectly safe on Yarns inspirations. The personal information you enter when you set up an account cannot be viewed without your Email Address and Password.
How does the Free Shipping promotion work?
If available, free standard shipping applies only to shipping and handling expenses on orders over the specified amount of the promotion but excludes case pack products. Promotion only applies to the order subtotal, excluding sales tax, placed anywhere within the website or through the Customer Care call center.
The Free Standard Shipping Promotion only applies to Standard Shipping. The promotion excludes Expedited Shipping, and case pack products, for which the listed rates apply.
The Free Standard Shipping Promotion only applies to delivery addresses within the United States & Canada. Orders must ship to a single address. Excludes case pack products.
The Free Standard Shipping Promotion is not valid if items in an order are canceled, bringing the subtotal below the promotion’s defined threshold.
Promotion will be applied as a credit towards the Standard shipping and handling fee.
Consumers are responsible for all shipping costs incurred for returned items.
Promotion is not valid for cash or cash equivalent or towards previous purchases.
Spinrite Yarns Online Inc. reserves the right to change or discontinue the free standard shipping promotion at any time without notice.
What is a flash sale & clearance sale?
A flash sale & clearance sale is a discount or promotion offered by an ecommerce store for a short period of time. The product quantity is limited, which often means the discounts are higher or more significant than run-of-the-mill promotions.

Order Status & Tracking
Can I track my order?
Tracking is available for packages shipped to US, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom destinations only. When your order leaves the warehouse, you will receive a "Shipping Confirmation" email. In this email you will find the tracking number for your order. If you click on this number, you will be transported to the site of the carrier where you can track your order from our door to yours. Please note: It may take 24 to 48 hours after your order ships for the carrier to update its tracking information.
Where is my order or shipping confirmation email?
Your Order Confirmation email should arrive in your email box within minutes after your order has been completed.
Order Confirmation emails contain the following information:
- Billing Information
- Shipping Information
- Order Number
- Account email address
- Items and quantities ordered
- Subtotal, Discount, Shipping Charges, Order Total
- Important information
If, for some reason, you do not get any of these emails, please check your spam/junk folders before requesting copies.
My order says “Delivered” but I have not seen it?
Please check with other household members to make sure they did not receive it and forget about it. Check with neighbors; it may have been delivered to the wrong address. Call your local post office and request they check for it there. If all of this fails to produce your package, please contact Customer Service.

Returns & Refunds
How do I return an item?
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and would like a full refund (less the cost of shipping the product back to our facility), you must ship the product(s) back to us so that is received within 45 days from the date of purchase.
Please package the item(s), unopened and unused, in a box with the original packing slip. A copy of the packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation email is also acceptable. Please do not send any return without one of these items, we will be unable to identify and verify your purchase and a refund will not be processed.
Do you offer exchanges?
Unfortunately, we are not able to exchange merchandise purchased through Yarns inspirations. If you order something and upon receiving it have decided it is not what you want for whatever reason, please return according to return procedure and reorder any other items you may want in place of it.
How long does it take for me to receive my refund?
Refunds on returned item(s) will be issued in the same payment form as was used at the time of purchase and should appear as a credit in your account within 1-2 billing cycles. Please allow up to 10 business days from the time your package is received for processing.
Is there a specific shipping method I should use to send back my order?
We can accept return from any carrier but would recommend that you select a method which includes a tracking number in the event your shipment does not reach us.

All orders can be sent via Standard service. Expedited service is not available.

Where do you ship?
We try our best to ship to all destinations where crafters like us are eager to get our yarns. We love how worldwide the love for our yarns is so if you don't see your country on the list please reach out to our Customer Care team here and so we can look into adding your country as a shipping option going forward.
Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
No, unfortunately we are no longer able to ship to P.O. Boxes.
Can I ship my order to multiple addresses?
No, we currently do not offer the option of shipping items within the same order to multiple addresses. All orders must ship to a single address. In the event that you require shipment to multiple destinations you must place a unique order for each shipping destination.
I live outside of the U.S. & Canada, why can't I buy Patons, Red Heart, Coats & Clark, Aunt Lydia’s, or Anchor products from you?
We have limited distribution rights to sell certain yarns and threads outside of the United States and Canada. However, all of our patterns are available for download worldwide.

About Our Products
How is your yarn manufactured?
Yarns inspirations carries yarn made with both synthetic and natural fibers.
The wool used in our yarn comes from sheep raised in Australia, New Zealand, South America, and Falkland. It is brought to the United Kingdom, where it is blended together in a roughly equal combination of content from each region, though this does vary from load to load.
The cotton used in our yarn is USA grown, though is not classified as organic or GMO-free.
All of our products are not treated or dyed with any epoxy or varnish compounds. We do not use Urea Formaldehyde Resin or Disperse blues. All of the materials used to manufacture our yarns are OEKO-TEX Standard certified. This standard certifies that the dyestuffs used do not present a health risk or risk to the environment.
Are your Patons yarns or patterns the same as Patons UK or Australia?
Please note that Patons UK and Patons Australia are separate entities and are not affiliated with Patons North America. Our patterns and yarn are produced by Patons North America.
My yarn has knots in it, what do I do?
While they might be annoying, knots in yarn are common and are pretty unavoidable in yarn production. Knots are created when a new strand of fiber is joined to the end of the previous one during the spinning and winding process. By using knots to join sections of fiber together, we also reduce excess waste and make the most of our materials.
While knots may not always be preferred, they are a normal part of the manufacturing process and do not typically indicate a defect in the yarn. Our products follow industry standards based on weight, gauge, and type of yarn. This ensures that our products are free from weak spots and able to withstand wear and tear.
Which of your wool yarns will felt?
You can use Patons Classic Wool Worsted, Patons Classic Wool Bulky, and Patons Classic Wool Roving for your felting projects.
How does the striping effect of Bernat Pop! yarn differ from other yarns?
Bernat Pop! is a print dyed yarn, which means this yarn undergoes a different dying process than other self-striping yarns. The result is that every ball of Bernat Pop! will have the same colors, though each ball may not start and end with the same color or include the same length of each color.

What is OEKO-TEX Standard certification?
Yarns that are OEKO-TEX certified are free of harmful chemicals and substances, making them safe for the environment and to use on projects for your whole family. With OEKO-TEX certification, you can be certain that every component has been tested for harmful substances and it is therefore is harmless in human ecological terms. The test is conducted by independent OEKO-TEX facilities on the basis of an extensive criteria catalog. In the test they take into account numerous regulated and non-regulated substances that may be harmful to human health. Often, this goes beyond national and international requirements. The criteria catalog is updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.
